Requirements

  • 1 + years of experience as a state-issued or special services teacher is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with fellow educators, staff, and administration to enhance instructional materials and teaching methodologies.

  • Monitor and assess student performance through observation and formal assessments, providing constructive feedback to encourage academic growth.
  • Address student concerns related to health, conduct, and academic progress.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution among students and monitor their social and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and dynamic classroom environment that is conducive to learning and fosters a love for education.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with parents, guardians, community groups, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and school programs, ensuring transparency and collaboration.
  • Represent the school at district meetings and events as required, serving as a liaison between the school and the broader community.
  • Complete necessary administrative duties, including grading and preparing progress reports, to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Utilize technology to enhance instructional delivery and engage students in the learning process.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
