About The Position

This is a 4th Grade Teacher position to cover a maternity leave from October 26 to December 11, 2026. The candidate must be student-centered and able to collaborate with the grade level team to enhance equitable student opportunities and outcomes through standards-based instruction. The role requires fostering higher-level, independent, and creative thinking, as well as problem-solving skills. The teacher will implement best instructional practices through a culturally responsive lens in Humanities (Reading & Writing, Social Studies) and STEM (Balanced Math, Science, Project Lead the Way), and integrate technology into the curriculum. Building an inclusive classroom community, committing to culturally responsive practices, data analysis, and excellent classroom management are essential. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are necessary for family and community interaction.

Requirements

• Current Indiana State Teaching License
• Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for family/community interaction.
