About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time 4th Grade Classroom Teacher for a classical and Catholic classroom. This position is for approximately 13 hours per week for the 2025-2026 academic year and is located in Jacksonville, FL. This is an in-person, on-site role. The academy offers tutoring in a Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. Positions are hourly, and childcare/nursery is provided for staff. Curriculum and grading guidelines are provided, and tutors receive training on instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and have a deep love for the Catholic faith. Center hours are Mondays and Thursdays only from 8:30 am to 3:15 pm. Mandatory training is scheduled for August 10 and 11, 2026, from 8 am to 5 pm (no childcare provided during training, but nursing babies are welcome). All employees are required to have a clear background check.

Requirements

Must be available to work approximately 13 hours per week.
Must be available on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 3:15 pm.
Must be available to attend mandatory training on August 10 and 11, 2026, from 8 am to 5 pm.
Must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
Must have a deep love for the Catholic faith.
Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
Must have standard computer skills (ideally with Google Suite or an equivalent).
Must have strong communication skills.
Must have good organization.
Must be timely.
Must have a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
Must be able to pass a background check.
