About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time 4th Grade Classroom Teacher for a classical and Catholic classroom. This position is for approximately 13 hours per week for the 2025-2026 academic year, located in Jacksonville, FL. It is an in-person, on-site role. The academy is a national organization offering tutoring in a Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. Childcare/nursery is provided for staff. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and have a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines are provided, and tutors receive training in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The ideal applicant will possess strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all appropriate sacraments.

Requirements

• Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Deep love for the Catholic faith.
• Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all appropriate sacraments.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good organization.
• Timeliness.
• Traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
• Standard computer skills (ideally with Google Suite or an equivalent) are a plus.
• Availability for mandatory training on August 10 and 11, 2026 (8am-5pm).
• Must have a clear background check.
