About The Position

This is a Long Term Substitute position for a 4th Grade Teacher. The estimated dates are ASAP. NH Teacher Certification is required. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required, along with requirements set by the State of New Hampshire Certification Authorities and Board of School Committee regulations. A State of NH Teacher Certification in Elementary Education (1810 or 1811) or other approved certification status may be considered.

Responsibilities

Create a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment.
Establish and enforce rules, procedures, and expectations for behavior.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
Teach core subjects such as reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
Evaluate student performance through tests, quizzes, assignments, and observations.
Track and report student progress to parents and school administrators.
Use assessment data to guide instruction and provide targeted support.
Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and support staff to enhance student learning.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
Foster social-emotional growth and encourage a love of learning.
Identify and address individual student needs, including those with IEPs or 504 plans, and multilingual learners.
