About The Position

The 4th Class Engineer role is central to the safe and efficient operation of the ship’s machinery and equipment, including all operating systems and services. The successful applicant will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and propulsion systems, prioritizing and completing tasks in a safe and timely manner. This position requires considerable knowledge of safe work practices and a commitment to the company's vision and values, including safety, exceeding customer expectations, and performance efficiency. The role offers a unique West Coast working environment with diverse challenges and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Transport Canada 4th Class Motor certification or higher.
  • Technical, interpersonal, and leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of safe work practices.
