About The Position

The 401k Analyst manages the Natera retirement plan, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate payroll processing. Key responsibilities include reviewing contributions, loans, and distributions, conducting annual testing, assisting with audits, and supporting employees with plan enrollment. This role is temp to permanent role at Natera. We are open for right candidate to work remotely .

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years administering 401(k) or defined contribution plans.
  • Strong knowledge of IRS, DOL, and ERISA regulations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Finance or equivalent experience.
  • Self-starter with extreme detail orientation
  • Team player with a can-do attitude who is flexible and comfortable with changing priorities/deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop solid relationships with HR colleagues and vendors
  • Comfortable handling confidential and highly sensitive data

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Retirement Services Professional (CRSP) or similar designation preferred.
  • Experience with Fidelity recordkeeper
  • Experience with HRIS systems, Workday preferred
  • Ability to create reports and manage data in excel and HRIS systems.
  • High detail orientation with emphasis on accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Review contributions, loan payments, employee distributions, and salary deferral changes accurately.
  • Manage 401(k) contributions to include all contributions are set up and employee changes, along with reconciling contributions for payroll.
  • Oversee all 401(k) vesting percentages to ensure accuracy, including reviewing distribution requests.
  • Review and research all errors in Fidelity bi- weekly reports and update the systems accordingly.
  • Ensure plan compliance with IRS and DOL regulations.
  • Perform annual nondiscrimination testing and assist with annual audit.
  • Conducting bi-weekly payroll file audits to confirm accuracy and manage electronic 401(k) files.
  • Guide employees on eligibility and enrollment
