The 4-H Program Educator is part of the Division of Extension Wisconsin 4-H Program, which is housed within the Positive Youth Development (PYD) Institute. This position provides overall leadership and direction for a county-based 4-H program, encompassing three primary roles: Program Administration, Volunteer Management, and Education and Youth Advocacy. The role involves expanding 4-H membership, ensuring quality experiences, overseeing programs for policy and risk management, cultivating collaborative relationships, managing volunteers, and delivering educational content in youth development, organization development, and volunteer development. The main office is in Green Lake, WI, with a primary programming focus on Green Lake County, though some programming may extend to a broader geographical area. This position requires in-person work, occasional nights and weekends, and reliable transportation for in-state travel.
