Production Operations: Direct and coordinate daily manufacturing activities to meet production schedules and customer commitments. Monitor production performance and address issues impacting safety, quality, delivery, or productivity. Optimize staffing and labor utilization to maximize operational efficiency. Ensure equipment is operating effectively and coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering to minimize downtime. Support production scale-up activities and implementation of new manufacturing technologies. Quality: Promote a “Quality First” culture throughout the operation. Ensure compliance with manufacturing specifications, work instructions, and quality standards. Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and continuous quality improvements. Drive reduction of scrap, rework, and process variation. Leadership: Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop production employees. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback. Support employee engagement and recognition initiatives. Manage attendance, scheduling, overtime, and staffing requirements. Foster teamwork and effective communication across all shifts and departments. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with: Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Quality Assurance, Planning and Scheduling, Supply Chain, Facilities, EHS. Support new product introductions and manufacturing qualification activities.
