About The Position

SimpleMANAGE is expanding its third-party property management platform and is seeking a high-octane Business Development Salesperson to lead the charge. This role is for a strategic rainmaker who can identify opportunities, build trust with key decision makers, and dominate the market. The ideal candidate will have a deep Rolodex of private owners, family offices, investors, and brokers, and a track record of sourcing and securing management assignments across diverse asset classes. As the Business Development Salesperson, you will be the tip of the spear for our growth strategy, leveraging industry expertise and connections to originate new business and secure management contracts across multifamily, industrial, office, retail, mixed-use, and hospitality assets by contacting Landlords/Owners/Trusts.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of elite performance in business development, brokerage, asset management, or property management sales within the commercial real estate sector.
  • An extensive, active, and highly leveraged network of owners and key decisionmakers in the real estate industry.
  • A proven, verifiable history of sourcing, negotiating, and closing significant property management assignments.
  • Deep operational knowledge across multifamily, office, retail, industrial, mixed-use, and hospitality sectors.
  • Exceptional communication, high-impact presentation, and elite negotiation skills.
  • The ability to articulate value clearly and persuasively.
  • A fiercely entrepreneurial spirit with the autonomy to work independently and the drive to crush ambitious growth targets.

  • Established, high-trust relationships with family offices, private ownership groups, and regional investors.
  • A proven preference for and success in working with entrepreneurial ownership groups, navigating fast-paced environments free from institutional bureaucracy.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively sourcing new third-party property management opportunities across multiple asset classes, focusing on high-value targets and strategic market expansion.
  • Developing, nurturing, and leveraging high-level relationships with private owners, family offices, investors, receivers, lenders, brokers, attorneys, and other key real estate professionals.
  • Identifying under-performing or transitioning assets where a change in management is not just beneficial, but critical for value optimization.
  • Monitoring market trends, ownership changes, loan distress, and acquisition activity to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Leading the business development life cycle from initial outreach and strategic pitching through comprehensive proposal generation and final contract execution.
  • Partnering seamlessly with our operations, accounting, leasing, and executive leadership teams to craft compelling management proposals and ensure flawless onboarding plans for new clients.
  • Maintaining rigorous, active pipeline reporting and relentlessly tracking opportunities through to a successful close.
  • Representing SimpleMANAGE as a thought leader and key player at premier industry events, networking functions, and high-stakes market meetings.
