About The Position
St. Thomas Aquinas Parish School in East Lansing is seeking a Third Grade Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is responsible for all grade level core subjects as well as religion instruction. The successful candidate must be faith-filled, have strong classroom management skills, be dynamic, compassionate, energetic, and willing to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in elementary education from an accredited university
- Valid Michigan teaching certification
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Complete Protecting God’s Children program
- Strong working knowledge of the Faith
- Ability with computers and other educational technology
- Committed to life-long learning
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents
