About The Position

The University of New Hampshire Wildcats Men’s Ice Hockey program, an NCAA Division I member competing in the Hockey East Association, is hiring a 3rd Assistant Ice Hockey Coach. This full-time position contributes to student-athlete development, on-ice instruction, and the program’s operational standards. The role assists with daily practices and individualized skill development, supports recruiting activities, and maintains compliance with applicable NCAA, Hockey East, and University System of New Hampshire rules and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and executing daily team practices.
• Provide individualized skill development, including work with goaltenders, defensemen, or forward units, and assist with special teams strategy.
• Assist recruiting coordinators by identifying potential student-athletes, maintaining the recruiting database, and evaluating film.
• Host prospects during official and unofficial visits to the UNH campus.
• Maintain compliance with NCAA Division I, Hockey East Association, and University System of New Hampshire rules, regulations, and policies.
