About The Position

Dienamic Tooling Systems (DTS) is looking for a 3D Modeling Technician to add to their team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have some level of experience with 3D scanning and modeling.

Requirements

Degree or certificate in Machine Tool Technology or other Engineering related field.
Experience with Solidworks
Ability to perform quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines
Ability to adhere to all industry standards in design
Excellent verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high degree of accuracy
Strong interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels within and outside the company in a professional manner and the ability to work in a team environment

Nice To Haves

3D Scanning experience
General understanding of the Tool and Die Industry
Experience with other 3D Modeling Software
Understanding of GD&T
Print reading experience

Responsibilities

Capture FARO scan data on-site and at customer facilities using laser scanners and survey tools.
Create 3D models for tooling needs
Process laser scan data, including: cleaning, segmenting large areas, archiving raw and processes scans, and exporting into customer specified formats
Work closely with company leadership, clients, engineers, planners, and other industry professionals
Maintain proper care of the company equipment; ensure security and safety for all equipment and accessories.
