Requirements

• Subject matter expertise in 3D Game Design using Unity and/or Unreal Engine.
• Passion and skill for building hands-on projects with kids.
• Excitement, joy, and passion for both teaching kids and personal development/learning.
• Ability to create a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Ability to bring your own voice and creativity to each class.
• Cooperative, supportive, and flexible.
• Dependable, proactive, and thrives when given autonomy.
• Appreciates support and clear expectations.
• Experience teaching school-age children.
• Resume showcasing relevant teaching experience (or other relevant experience/training if formal teaching experience is lacking).

Responsibilities

• Develop age-appropriate 3D Game Design curriculum for after-school students using Unity and/or Unreal Engine.
• Lead weekly in-person classes with enthusiasm and expertise where students practice coding, build immersive worlds, and design games that are fun to play and share.
• Establish a well-structured and lively classroom that keeps students engaged.
• Foster a positive, supportive, and encouraging learning environment for students of varying skill levels.
• Build connections with students in a warm and inclusive environment.
• Track student growth and offer positive, helpful feedback.
• Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to teach.
• Create a memorable experience for the children in your class.
