About The Position

Togetherhood is building a marketplace connecting passionate educators with schools and communities seeking enrichment programs. They offer opportunities for talented instructors to share their skills in various subjects, including martial arts, with children. The mission is to infuse communities with high-quality enrichment and education. This role involves teaching Martial Arts (Karate, Taekwondo, MMA, BJJ) to K-12 students in after-school settings for terms ranging from 6 to 18 weeks.

Requirements

Experience teaching school-age children
Subject matter expertise in Martial Arts (Karate, Taekwondo, MMA, BJJ)
Passion and skill for building hands-on projects with kids
Excitement, joy, and passion for both teaching kids and personal development/learning
Ability to create a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Ability to bring own voice and creativity to each class
Cooperative, supportive, flexible
Dependable, proactive, and thrives when given autonomy
Appreciates support and clear expectations
Resume showcasing relevant teaching experience (or other relevant experience/training if formal teaching experience is lacking)
