About The Position

Loadmaster Industries, Inc. is seeking a full-time 3D Tekla Designer / Drafter to join its engineering and drafting team in Broussard, Louisiana. The role supports delivery of 2D and 3D structural designs and fabrication drawings for a variety of structural steel projects.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of hands-on experience in 3D modeling and structural drafting.
• 0–3 years of experience preparing detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for steel structures.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Two-year Certificate or Diploma in CADD, Engineering Technology, or a related field from an accredited technical school or college.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Trimble Steel Detailing Module / Tekla Structures is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of drilling operations and drilling rigs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Engineering and Drafting teams to produce accurate 2D and 3D models and drawings.
• Create detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for structural steel components.
• Develop and maintain 3D models using Tekla Structures and similar software.
• Support project teams with drafting and design services across multiple structural projects.
