About The Position

MRA is looking for a 3D Designer with CAD skills to support the design and production of custom fabrication and buildout of mobile experiential trailers. Creating a compelling experiential environment is both a form of art and an engineering feat! Our Designers work closely with Fortune 100 clients and our talented design teams to bring each customer’s vision to life – flexing between 3D concepts, detailed drawing and CAD renderings. The Designer/Draftsperson is responsible for producing detailed 3D models, detailed technical drawings and blueprints to ensure that all designs are accurate and production ready (feasible) to industry standards. Essential skills include 3D and CAD software platforms and understanding construction and custom fabrication as well as following detailed project schedules. MRA is all about team. Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed 3D models, detailed technical drawings and blueprints to ensure that all designs are accurate and production ready (feasible) to industry standards.
  • Create 3D drawings.
  • Create detailed CAD engineering drawings.
  • Develop and revise engineering drawings, layouts, schematics and diagrams.
  • Work closely with customers, designers and engineers to interpret project specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure drawings are practical and manufacturable.
  • Specify materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure that all specifications meet required standards for safety requirements.
  • Review and revise existing drawings and designs based on feedback and production requirements.
  • Update drawings to reflect any changes in design, materials or manufacturing.
  • Maintain accurate records of drawings and related drawings, exercising vision control protocols.
  • Prepare and issue final drawings and documentation to production teams.
  • Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, Inventor) to create and modify drawings.
  • Stay updated with latest software tools and technologies.
  • Identify and address potential design or manufacturing issues during the drafting process.
  • Propose solutions to improve the manufacturing and efficiency of designs.
