The City Arts and Sciences Academy (CASA) is a newly imagined grade 6-12 school for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM). CASA opens in September, 2025 with 200 students in grades 6 and 9 and will over three years to a full grade 6-12 school. CASA will integrate advanced curricula, interdisciplinary project-based learning, and real-world applications to inspire and engage students from diverse backgrounds. CASA utilizes the unique opportunities within the Lynn community to build innovative, responsive, and meaningful project-based learning experiences for all students. Our commitment to a dynamic schedule allows students to learn in authentic, collaborative, and inter/transdisciplinary ways. Because teacher collaboration and inspiration is foundational to our curriculum, we ensure common planning time and ongoing professional development for our faculty. Community partners are at the heart of our connections to Lynn, and we are supported by abundant, sustainable, nourishing, and reciprocal community partnerships across the arts and sciences. Incorporates goals, competencies, and objectives into lesson plans in ways that directly apply to the student’s lived experience and to the Lynn community. Collaborates with community partners and other teachers.
