About The Position

The successful candidate will assist the 350th Spectrum Warfare Group (350 SWG) at Eglin AFB, Florida. The 350 SWG is the technical focal point for electronic warfare (EW) support of warfighter systems for Combat Air Forces fighter, bomber, airborne surveillance, and helicopter platforms. Its mission is to develop and test mission data (MD) to identify and/or defeat enemy radar and infrared-guided missile systems, enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability in combat. The role supports operational EW testing, MD development, validation and verification, force development evaluation, and foreign materiel exploitation. Work includes EW research and testing, support for EW system programming and reprogramming, preparation of test plans, participation in ground and flight testing, and participation in MD configuration control boards. The candidate will help collect, record, and analyze data generated during testing; interpret and program emitter definitions for low-observable aircraft using software database suites and applicable intelligence sources; analyze threat waveforms; and develop, maintain, and test parametric data in mission data files (MDFs). The candidate will conduct MDF validation and verification through characterization, correlation, and compatibility testing using software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop environments. They will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure mission data design, development, and testing meet customer requirements, and provide training to new staff. Travel of up to 10–25% is required.
