310T Mobile Mechanic
About The Position
WESSUC INC. is seeking a 310T Mobile Technician for a field-based, hands-on role. This position involves responding to service calls and performing on-site maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet of trucks, equipment, and specialized systems. The technician will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventative maintenance, complete repairs, troubleshoot various systems, use diagnostic software, communicate with operations, and maintain their service truck and inventory. Experience will be gained on a wide range of equipment including vacuum trucks, highway trucks and tractors, trailers, light-duty vehicles, agricultural equipment, pumps, and engines.
Requirements
- Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician License
- Flexibility, able to respond to breakdowns on weekends
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Experience with diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics
- Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
- Reliable, safety-focused, and motivated
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in the field
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on-site
- Complete brake, suspension, and component repairs
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems
- Use diagnostic software and tools for accurate fault finding
- Communicate with operations and complete service reports
- Maintain your service truck, tools, and parts inventory
