About The Position
This position involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing tractor-trailers, including braking systems, transmissions, wheels, and axles. The role requires utilizing diagnostic equipment to identify and fix operating problems, as well as performing regular fleet maintenance on company trucks. Maintaining a clean shop environment is also a responsibility.
Requirements
- Valid 310T License / or Registered Apprentice
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and experience with troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
- Strong problem solving skills
- Professional service attitude
- Must own tools
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Safety conscious, ability to work in a safety driven environment
- Valid Driver's license and clean driving record
- Physically capable
Responsibilities
- Inspecting, diagnosing and repairing tractor-trailers; braking systems, transmissions, wheels, axles, etc.
