This role is based in Milton and offers an easy commute from Brampton, Mississauga, Guelph, Kitchener, Burlington, and Hamilton.

Requirements

Registered 310T Apprentice – 3rd or 4th Year
Strong willingness to learn and grow in the trade
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently with guidance when needed
Ability to work independently
Strong time management skills
Well-developed communication skills (both written and verbal)

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience working on heavy-duty or transit vehicles
Valid inspector’s license (or interest in obtaining)
Commercial driver’s license (CDL) or willingness to pursue

Responsibilities

Perform standard maintenance repairs
Maintain accurate records
Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests on transit vehicles
Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures
Adhere to Provincial and Municipal laws and regulations governing the location
Provide updates on maintenance progress and potential issues
Prioritize safety in all aspects of work
Procure necessary parts for repairs and maintenance
Manage and organize parts inventory
Track parts usage and reorder as needed

Benefits

Competitive apprentice pay (80% or 90% based on level), with the opportunity to earn up to $43/hour upon achieving Journeyperson (JP) status
