The 2nd Shift Team Lead will be responsible for the various jobs associated with the production on the south end of the building.

Requirements

Safety conscious
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to speak, read and understand English.

Responsibilities

Know and follow HACCP and SQF programs.
Know and follow all Food Safety procedures.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Follow all Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
Know and follow all Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
Wear all required personal protective equipment.
Cover Supervisor responsibilities when they have time off or absent.
Assist and train in production activities to help ensure it is running smoothly, and quality is being met.
Help with the training in sanitation and chemicals.
Watch for and enforce safety procedures around the plant.
Support and bring ideas to help create and support management decisions.
Promote a positive work environment, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
Responsible for compliance with production standards and product yields and communication of results to team members.
Know the proper way to assemble all equipment in area, be available to help at any time.
Properly inspect all machines before Pre-op.
