About The Position

As a 2nd shift production supervisor your essential responsibilities will include: Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring all products meet quality standards. Supervising, training, and motivating hourly associates to achieve performance objectives and developing them for increased responsibility/proficiency. Planning and organizing resources to meet production schedules, minimizing waste, and driving continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean Manufacturing). Maintaining accurate training records, time logs, and job performance documentation. Identifying and resolving operational issues and coordinating with support functions such as Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, & Planning daily.

Requirements

  • University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred
  • Familiarity with production management software (SAP), Microsoft Office Suite, and specific industry principles like Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is desired
  • Experience in a complex electronics environment dealing with circuit card assemblies and end-item assembly
