About The Position

Health Systems Cooperative Laundries is currently hiring for several FULL TIME Pre-Sorter positions. The schedule involves days off varying based on the chosen schedule, with hours from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, including mandatory overtime. The role is responsible for opening, emptying, and sorting bags of soiled hospital linens into established linen classifications, and complying with OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen standards. This position requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of safety standards.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with an attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work and communicate in a richly diverse environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Basic ability to speak and understand English.
• Attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities
