About The Position

Our Lady of Grace Academy is seeking a Second Grade Teacher for the 26/27 school year and beyond. This is a great opportunity to join a small school with a family feel, which is part of Siena Catholic Schools of Racine. Siena comprises six elementary/middle schools and one high school that serve more than 1,600 students. The role involves guiding the organization toward its goal of ensuring excellence in academics, nurturing faith formation, and developing healthy students. Teachers within the Siena system may also qualify for loan forgiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate subject area.
• Knowledge of application of best teaching practices
• Ability to work in a high achieving school in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspiring students and promoting mastery in subject area.
• Helping to develop and implement curriculum that aligned with Wisconsin State Standards and Common Core Standards as they evolve.
• Providing continual assessment of student progress and maintaining records.
• Continually evaluating instructional performance to meet the needs of the students.
