About The Position

Chandler School is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of 2nd Grade Classroom Teacher for the 2026-2027 School year. Our school is a Preschool - 2 early childhood school with 665 students and 140 dedicated staff members. We look forward to working with parents to meet the academic, emotional, social, and physical needs of their children. Requirements

  • Current certification Early Childhood (PrK - 2) from Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from accredited college or university
  • Classroom management skills that support students social emotional learning
  • Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners
  • Willingness to collaborate with staff to plan and implement engaging learning opportunities
  • Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
