About The Position

A Saint Ann Catholic School 4th Grade Teacher is responsible for providing a faith-centered, academically rigorous education to students while fostering their spiritual, moral, and intellectual development. The teacher is expected to actively support and promote the mission of Catholic education by nurturing students’ academic excellence and spiritual growth, encouraging them to live out their faith through service, integrity, and compassion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification/licensure
• Knowledge of Catholic doctrine and willingness to integrate faith into teaching
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering a faith-filled learning environment

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards
• Integrate faith-based principles and Gospel values into daily instruction and classroom activities
• Support students’ spiritual growth through prayer, liturgy participation, and religious instruction
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development and classroom expectations
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and administration to support the school’s mission
• Model Christian behavior and uphold the values and teachings of the Catholic Church
• Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities
