About The Position
Louisiana Key Academy-Caddo seeks a highly motivated Elementary (2nd grade) Math and Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Requirements
- A strong desire to receive rigorous, ongoing professional training to deeply understand dyslexia and the effect of dyslexia on academic life.
- An open-minded attitude toward academic instruction, including a willingness to “work outside the box” of traditional instructional methods.
- A willingness to receive and implement feedback regarding instructional practices.
- Evidence of strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to participate in highly collaborative lesson planning and teaching situations.
- Evidence of individualized, interactive teaching philosophy.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with special education.
