About The Position
Seeking an experienced 2nd Class Pipe Welder for day shift work in a fabrication/shop environment. Responsibilities include performing 6G TIG root and FCAW fill/cap welding on carbon steel and pipe systems while meeting quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- 2+ years of pipe welding experience
- Experience with 6G TIG root / FCAW fill & cap
- Ability to pass a 6G pipe weld test
- Ability to read isometric drawings and weld symbols
- Experience welding carbon steel pipe
- Strong safety record and reliable attendance
- 2 years of experience
Nice To Haves
- Shipyard, offshore, or industrial fabrication experience
- Stainless steel pipe welding experience
- Knowledge of ASME welding standards
- Current welding certifications
- Experience with fit-up and pipe fabrication
Responsibilities
