About The Position

Fenwick is seeking qualified second-year law students who expect to complete the equivalent of four semesters of law school prior to the start of the 2026 Summer Program. The goal of the Summer Associate Program is to provide a realistic, professional, and meaningful experience, offering a practical and exciting view of the legal industry. Summer Associates will experience challenging days filled with client work, mentorship, and relationship-building opportunities. The summer will also include training programs, professional development exercises, and events and activities. Summer Associates will observe and, when possible, assist in trials, hearings, depositions, and negotiations, and participate in client meetings and closings.

Requirements

Second-year law student status.
Expectation to complete the equivalent of four semesters of law school prior to the start of the 2026 Summer Program.
Submission of a cover letter, current resume, undergraduate transcript, and law school transcript.
Cover letter should state office and practice group interest.
Applicants may apply to the following practices: Corporate, Litigation, Tax, Technology Transactions and Regulatory.
Applications may be submitted without a current law school transcript but will not be considered complete until that transcript is received.
