About The Position
Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the 2D CAD Technician works with Lumbermen’s Counter Solutions team to deliver high-quality countertops for residential and commercial settings. The role uses AutoCAD (2D) to design and modify Cambia countertop layouts and works closely with customer service and field installation teams to provide quality products and service. Lumbermen’s seeks a safety-minded team player who contributes to collaborative success.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous CAD experience.
- Ability to use AutoCAD (2D) to render countertop drawings.
- Ability to read and, when necessary, modify drawings received from customers.
- Ability to work with drawings and interpret notes from template and installation technicians.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Natural attention to detail.
- Understanding of the importance of accuracy and precision.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Use AutoCAD (2D) to design and modify Cambia countertop layouts for residential and commercial installations.
- Work with the Counter Solutions customer service and field installation teams to provide products and service to customers.
