About The Position

SILVER LION TRADE SERVICES LLC is an Airfreight Trucking and Warehouse enterprise with offices in Dulles, VA (IAD) and Richmond, VA (RIC). We run line haul between IAD and RIC, and service IAD, BWI, CHO, RIC, and ORF daily specializing in Data Center Recovery, Warehousing, Storage and White Glove services. This role involves driving a 26ft box truck for local runs, including hot shot and white glove deliveries, with a focus on safety and timely delivery.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's license
• At least one year verifiable experience with large trucks
• Copy of Motor Vehicle report
• Clean background (no felonies within past 7 years)
• Must have flexible schedule & reliable transportation to and from work
• Must have a good command of English.

Nice To Haves

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
• Communicating with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveries
• Meeting delivery deadlines
• Performing basic truck maintenance
• Loading and unloading cargo
• Tracking shipments and deliveries
• Obtaining client or customer signatures
