About The Position
Hackbarth Delivery Service, Inc. is a leading logistics and distribution company seeking experienced independent contractors for final mile delivery and installation services. We are looking for skilled drivers to join our growing network of Independent Contractors to deliver top-tier service to homes and businesses across the Southeast, Midwest, and Mid-Atlantic regions.
Requirements
- Own or lease a 26ft Box Truck with Lift Gate
- Experience in Final Mile Home Delivery with "White Glove Service"
- Experience with setup and installation for furniture and appliances
- 100,000 Commercial General Liability insurance
- 300,000 Commercial Auto Liability insurance
- 100,000 Cargo Insurance
- Owner-Operators must have a minimum of 100/300/100 Auto Liability coverage for initial consideration but must upgrade to $1,000,000 Auto Liability before beginning deliveries.
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass criminal background and drug screenings
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs.
- Availability for at least six days per week, including weekends
- Proficiency with navigation devices
- English language proficiency
