This paid, 10-week internship provides a dynamic and engaging experience featuring meaningful project work, one-on-one mentorship, executive exposure, professional development opportunities, volunteer initiatives, networking events, and collaboration with fellow interns. Interns will gain valuable hands-on experience while working alongside industry professionals and contributing to real business initiatives across a variety of bank departments. Trust & Wealth Finance - Assist with a variety of accounting functions, including account reconciliations and the preparation and review of general ledger entries. Support financial performance reporting and analysis while collaborating with team members to interpret key financial metrics and trends. Contribute to special projects and respond to ad hoc requests, providing valuable support across the finance team.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
A business-related or related college major is preferred.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have completed a minimum of one (1) full year of college by May 2027
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be available for in-person and virtual interviews.
Must be available for in person orientation with Human Resources.
Ability to work up to 5 days on-site at a physical office location within the WSFS Bank footprint.
Must be able to participate in this full-time position (40 hours per week) within a continuous program, starting first week of June and ending early to mid-August.
Fundamental computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, is required.
Excellent oral and written communication is required.
Must have critical thinking and analytical skills.
Must have organizational skills and proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
WSFS Bank will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from WSFS Bank now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Assist with a variety of accounting functions, including account reconciliations and the preparation and review of general ledger entries.
Support financial performance reporting and analysis while collaborating with team members to interpret key financial metrics and trends.
Contribute to special projects and respond to ad hoc requests, providing valuable support across the finance team.
Work alongside professionals across multiple business lines and gain exposure to real-world projects, operations, and strategic decision-making.
Support and present on projects, research, or operational activities within an assigned business area to Senior Leaders.
Build meaningful connections through dedicated mentorship and collaboration with peers and experienced professionals.
Engage with leaders across the organization through networking events, panel discussions, and career-focused conversations.
Participate in volunteer initiatives, employee resource groups, and social exclusive events designed to foster connection and professional growth.
