About The Position
The Undergraduate Summer Analyst Program gives undergraduate juniors the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at a unique institution. At the end of the program, students leave with strong skills, professional connections, and meaningful experiences that will support them in their long-term careers. System IT collaboratively imagines, plans, delivers, runs, and measures business technology solutions to foster the stability, integrity, and efficiency of our nation’s monetary, financial, and payments system. Our technology teams are positioned to effectively serve the Fed’s mission and businesses as an enterprise IT team. We are organized to serve the local business and take advantage of scale, enabling us to benefit from shared capabilities, standardized processes, and broader technical capacity and expertise.
Requirements
- Demonstrated interest in computer science, information systems, application development or business technology.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, and manage multiple tasks
- Basic programming skills in one or more areas: Java, JavaScript, SQL, Scala, Python, HTM/CSS
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
- Ability to grasp information quickly
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work productively in a high-performance team atmosphere and as an independent analyst
- Expected graduation between Winter 2027 & Spring 2028.
- U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, individuals who meet the definition of “protected individual” under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), and certain other nonimmigrants. All non-U.S. citizens authorized to access CSI and/or FOMC information must sign a declaration of intent to expeditiously become a lawful permanent resident and thereafter a U.S. citizen when eligible.

Responsibilities
- Candidates will be responsible for technology work in any of our IT areas, including but not limited to information security, data management, software development, business operations, or end user services.
- Responsibilities may include coding software, testing code, preparing and managing data, and/or running competitive analyses and research for our technology teams.
- Additional responsibilities may include analyzing current and new technology architecture designs or implementing and deploying applications across multiple environments.
Benefits
- This is a paid internship.
- Salary Range: Your regular wages for the 10 weeks will be paid on a semi-monthly basis and will be calculated based on an annual salary of $72,100
