Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering: Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Industrial
Highly motivated self-starter with technical curiosity.
Ability to manage & solve engineering problems.
Proven people/project leadership throughout academic career.
Leadership skills on-campus and off-campus are applicable.
Previous experiences on-campus or off-campus (Academic Clubs, Internships, Co-Ops, Summer Jobs, and/or Employment).
Ability to work in an unstructured environment with the ability to make tradeoff decisions quickly.
Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented and challenging environment.
Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills.
Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
Limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree within one (1) year of internship completion.
Hold a GPA of 2.75 or higher.

Responsibilities

Provide students with the opportunity to leverage their academic understanding in a real-world, business-driven environment.
Work on and manage a variety of different projects.
Leverage relationships and partner with leaders from manufacturing plants.
Work on one (1), and up to three (3), project(s) driven by the Business-based needs for that calendar year.
Manage projects with time-bound requirements and deliverables within the internship, providing a clear start/stop scope of work that may be a single project or a portion of a larger project.
Engage in projects that can be in single or multiple phases of our project management life cycle: Initiating / Planning / Execution / Monitoring / Closing.
Collaborate internally and externally with a drive for technical curiosity, problem solving, engineering skillset, and project management (scope, budget, timing & risks).
Gain understanding and network with cross-functional supply chain functions & disciplines.
Build affiliation with associate peers and interact with Directors, Sr. Directors, Vice Presidents and Sr. Vice Presidents.
Assist in the analysis of Engineering and Operations performance metrics, tools & processes.
Manage time effectively and multi-task during the internship.
Gain valuable insights between Processing, Packaging, Warehouse, Automation, Controls & Information, along with exposure to Capacity, Innovation, Productivity, Sustainability, Facilities, Infrastructure and National Rollout teams.
Actively engage and support all Summer Internship activities developed by the Intern Council.
