About The Position

The Hubbell Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week program providing students the opportunity to gain corporate experience, learn about all aspects of our business, and prepare students with the kind of experience needed to have a rewarding career at Hubbell. This intern will focus on assessing critical assembly areas and identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing process readiness, safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. Responsibilities include documenting current-state processes, mapping assembly workflows, evaluating tooling, fixturing, work instructions, and operator resources, and developing a prioritized gap analysis. The intern will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Production teams to recommend standard work improvements and create an action roadmap that supports consistent, accurate, and efficient production.

Requirements

  • Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship program period (May-August 2027), pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree related to the internship
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with SolidWorks
  • Familiarity with relevant software and systems

Benefits

  • Intern compensation is determined based on academic standing and expected graduation date. Hourly rates for this position range from $22.50 to $29.00 per hour ($46,800–$60,320 annualized equivalent).
