About The Position

Sanofi is seeking a highly motivated Summer Co-op to join its Process Chemistry team within the CMC Synthetics organization. The team develops synthetic routes, optimizes chemistry, and designs commercial manufacturing processes for drug substances undergoing clinical development. Its work emphasizes innovative routes, concepts, and technologies that make manufacturing more efficient, affordable, environmentally benign, and intrinsically safe. The co-op will contribute to the development and optimization of synthetic pathways and manufacturing processes, using a range of chemistry methods and technologies. The role includes planning and conducting experiments, applying green chemistry principles, characterizing compounds, analyzing results, maintaining electronic laboratory notebooks, and working safely in accordance with company requirements. The position is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, lasts six months, and requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a doctoral degree program in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Permanently authorized to work in the United States without requiring employment visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.
