About The Position

Sanofi is seeking a motivated Spring Co-op to join its Biochemistry Group within the Global Antigen Design Department in Waltham, Massachusetts. The group supports vaccine-candidate development, from early prototype optimization through IND-enabling activities. The co-op will contribute to the development and characterization of next-generation vaccines targeting respiratory pathogens, which may include seasonal or pandemic influenza, RSV, hMPV, and COVID-19. The position focuses on molecular biology and vaccine-candidate characterization. Under supervision, the co-op will learn and apply molecular techniques to assemble, purify, and characterize DNA using enzymatic reactions and analytical methods. The co-op will also learn to use automation systems for producing expression plasmids and proteins. The role is a six-month placement requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the placement. The co-op will work onsite in Waltham, Massachusetts.
