About The Position

Sanofi is seeking a highly motivated Spring Co-op to join the Downstream Process Development and Technologies team in the drug substance function of Recombinant Mammalian Science, Analytics, and Technology (MSAT). The co-op will work in a laboratory setting on a project related to protein purification process characterization and/or protein drug substance stability. This is a six-month, full-time position from January 2027 through June 2027, based in Framingham, Massachusetts. The drug substance function owns Life Cycle Management of drug substance processes within Sanofi’s biologics manufacturing network. It develops innovative, robust, and cost-effective processes and provides commercial manufacturing support. Its work includes technology transfer activities such as process fit-gap assessment, process validation, preparation of dossier sections, and support for pre-approval inspections. The co-op will contribute to an MSAT development project involving chromatography and filtration operations, protein stability studies, analytical testing, and data analysis. The role offers mentoring, collaboration with a project team, and opportunities to participate in experimental design, interpret results, recommend further experiments, and prepare technical materials.
