About The Position

PGIM is hosting a 3-day sophomore externship in January 2027 to educate students on its credit business and opportunities for internships and careers with the firm. This program is designed for sophomores interested in learning about careers in public or private credit and getting a jump start on 2028 summer internship recruiting while networking with leaders at a premier asset manager. The externship will showcase PGIM's Credit business, including Private Credit (managing over $100 billion in private debt and equity investments) and Public Credit (managing over $900 billion of active solutions). Selected participants will learn about careers, participate in training and case studies, network with professionals, shadow investment professionals, explore internship and career opportunities, and complete first-round interviews for the 2028 Summer Internship Program. Travel and lodging will be provided. The program will highlight three different investment professional internship programs across public & private credit, which serve as feeders into full-time Analyst programs. The Private Credit teams focus on financial modeling, due diligence, industry research, and transaction structuring.
