About The Position

This position is for an innovative individual to join the Imaging Systems Group, contributing to system development and experimental efforts in a dynamic, problem-solving environment. The role involves developing, evaluating, and deploying imaging system hardware, algorithms, and/or software. It also includes assisting in the brainstorming and development of new initiatives/concepts in optical imaging through internal research and development (IR&D) efforts. The successful candidate will capture technical contributions in internal memoranda/reports and conference/journal papers, and present findings and recommendations at internal and external forums. Support for field integration and testing activities of developed systems is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Optical Engineering, Imaging Science, Computer Vision, or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with strong interpersonal, speaking, and technical writing skills.
Can ultimately obtain a Secret level security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Optical Engineering, Imaging Science, Computer Vision, or equivalent.
An active Secret level security clearance.
