About The Position

This position is for an innovative individual to join the Imaging Systems Group, contributing to system development and experimental efforts in a dynamic, problem-solving environment. The role involves developing, evaluating, and deploying imaging system hardware, algorithms, and/or software. It also includes assisting in the brainstorming and development of new initiatives/concepts in optical imaging through internal research and development (IR&D) efforts. The successful candidate will capture technical contributions in internal memoranda/reports and conference/journal papers, and present findings and recommendations at internal and external forums. Support for field integration and testing activities of developed systems is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Optical Engineering, Imaging Science, Computer Vision, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with strong interpersonal, speaking, and technical writing skills.
  • Can ultimately obtain a Secret level security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

  • Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Optical Engineering, Imaging Science, Computer Vision, or equivalent.
  • An active Secret level security clearance.
