About The Position

Air Liquide is hiring for the 2027 ALLEX Engineering program in multiple locations across the US. This program is designed to introduce college students to Air Liquide and the industrial gas industry. Air Liquide supplies oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, and many other specialty gases, molecules, services, and technologies to a wide range of industries, providing customers with innovative solutions that are vital to their industrial production and sustainability. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Expected graduation of May 2027
  • Minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Must be able to provide own daily transportation to/from work
  • Must secure and finance own housing
  • Previous co-op or intern experience required
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills; ability to analyze data
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
  • Detail oriented and strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • Able to work with all levels of employees and management within the organization
  • Comfort and ability to work within ambiguity

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the industrial gas industry

Responsibilities

  • Participate in three, eight-month rotational job assignments designed to accelerate the development of critical industry knowledge, practical skills, and hands-on experience.
  • Rotate across Technical, Operations, Project, or Business functions.
  • Collaborate with various teams across the organization.
  • Work on challenging projects that foster innovation and creative thinking.
  • For the Base Ops Track, participants will be placed in a plant engineering role before returning to a technical role upon successful completion of the program.
  • Develop and strengthen engineering knowledge.
  • Be open and flexible to relocate anywhere in the US during and post program.
  • Travel and remain mobile during and upon successful completion of the program.
