Requirements

  • Proven ability to work well with others in a team, working towards a common goal
  • Proven ability to read and follow written instructions

Responsibilities

  • Apply and/or expand the student's knowledge of LEAN manufacturing basics by reducing the cycle time of processes and increasing flexibility, thereby improving the overall quality of the work.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines, proactively identify potential safety hazards and initiate corrective action when necessary, maintain acceptable dependability level, and must not pose a risk to self or others.
  • Develop and improve skills in communication, technology, quantitative reasoning, and teamwork.
  • Assist with the student's development of A-dec’s manufacturing valued skills such as quality, teamwork, communications and attention to detail.
  • Develop a solid work ethic and professional demeanor, as well as a commitment to ethical conduct and social responsibility.
