Department Summary The Delivery Platforms Intern will support the development of non-viral gene delivery tools by investigating the structure-function relationships of mRNA and DNA-lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). This 10 to 12-week internship focuses on iterative design, formulation of novel LNPs, execution of analytical characterization, and correlation of physical properties with biological activity. By identifying the key drivers of LNP potency, the intern will directly contribute to the design of optimized lipids and formulations. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the rapidly advancing field of non-viral gene therapy and to help bridge the gap in the understanding of LNP structure-function relationships. This internship position is located in Philadelphia, on-site. The Opportunity Reporting to the Senior Director, Delivery Platforms. Daily supervision and technical training by a Senior Scientist.
