About The Position

This is an internal intent application for current employees for the 2026 Fall School Age Program (SAP). The School Age Program (SAP) is Camp Fire Alaska's largest licensed After School Program, operating from mid-August through mid-May in multiple locations throughout Anchorage and Eagle River within Anchorage School District elementary schools. The program runs Monday - Friday during After School hours of 2:00pm - 6:00pm. During school breaks such as in-services, winter break, and spring break, SAP holds full day programming where staff have the opportunity to work longer shifts. Available positions for Fall 2026 include Program Staff, Multi-Site Program Staff, Assistant Site Director, and Senior Site Director. Program Staff directly supervise youth and facilitate activities at primarily one program location. Multi-Site Program Staff directly supervise youth and facilitate activities across multiple program locations. Assistant Site Directors provide support to the Senior Site Director in planning, management, and supervision of assigned sites with enrolled youth. Senior Site Directors are responsible for the overall management and supervision of assigned sites with enrolled youth, assisting with hiring, orientation, procedure compliance, and training of new staff and site leadership.

  • Provide a copy of your most current transcripts (needed for ASD and SSD positions) to be reviewed for "applicable credits" related to youth development to meet Licensing Designation requirements
  • Provide 3 Professional References (required for Licensing), one of which MUST be a supervisor
  • List the reference's first and last name, phone number and email address
