About The Position

This is an internal application for current employees of Camp Fire Alaska who are interested in positions within the School Age Program (SAP) for the Fall 2026 term. The SAP is a licensed after-school program that operates from mid-August through mid-May in various elementary schools within the Anchorage School District. The program offers full-day programming during school breaks, including in-services, winter break, and spring break, providing opportunities for staff to work longer shifts. The program hours are Monday through Friday, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with specific start times varying by location. Several positions are available, including Program Staff, Multi-Site Program Staff, Assistant Site Director, and Senior Site Director, each with different pay rates, hours, and responsibilities. To be considered for a promotion, employees must select the desired position on their intent application, submit a separate application through Bamboo HR for the higher position when applications open on June 1, 2026, and provide an updated resume reflecting their work with Camp Fire Alaska. Transcripts are required for ASD and SSD positions to determine applicable credits related to youth development for licensing requirements. Three professional references are also required for licensing, and current Camp Fire Alaska employees can be used, with one reference being a supervisor.
