About The Position

As an engineering Co-Op, you will have the opportunity to work on an engineering team where curiosity, learning, and innovation are at the heart of everything we do. Requirements

  • Pursuing a BS degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related field
  • Must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of, their employment.
  • Must be eligible to work onsite on a full-time basis during the internship duration (40 hours/week)
  • Provide their own funding for relocation and commuting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing project proposals for small to medium investments, gaining exposure to budgeting, planning, and presenting engineering solutions.
  • Support senior engineers during the design phase, helping to research, select, and detail technical solutions for process and equipment improvements.
  • Participate in safety and reliability initiatives, including root cause investigations, data collection on breakdowns, and implementing safety features like interlocks and guarding.
  • Analyze operational data using tools like Excel or Power BI to identify trends, support preventative maintenance planning, and contribute to energy efficiency opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, building communication and teamwork skills while contributing to engineering reports and project documentation.
