About The Position

As an engineering Co-Op, you will have the opportunity to work on an engineering team where curiosity, learning, and innovation are at the heart of everything we do. Requirements

Pursuing a BS degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related field
Must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of, their employment.
Must be eligible to work onsite on a full-time basis during the internship duration (40 hours/week)
Provide their own funding for relocation and commuting.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing project proposals for small to medium investments, gaining exposure to budgeting, planning, and presenting engineering solutions.
Support senior engineers during the design phase, helping to research, select, and detail technical solutions for process and equipment improvements.
Participate in safety and reliability initiatives, including root cause investigations, data collection on breakdowns, and implementing safety features like interlocks and guarding.
Analyze operational data using tools like Excel or Power BI to identify trends, support preventative maintenance planning, and contribute to energy efficiency opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, building communication and teamwork skills while contributing to engineering reports and project documentation.
