We are looking for a highly qualified and motivated post-doctoral candidate to join the Sanofi Neurology Research Therapeutic Area, focused on discovering targets and validating and developing therapies for neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease. This position is laboratory-based and will involve executing experiments, including genetic screens, to identify and test new targets and therapeutics in vitro and ex vivo . The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in neurodegeneration with strong expertise in Alzheimer’s Disease pathogenesis and extensive experience in models of brain disease, with the ability to perform cell culture-based experiments using gene silencing techniques (e.g. CRISPR) on primary brain cells and/or iPSCs. The ideal candidate will also have experience running various bioanalysis assays including ELISA or MSD-based systems.
